My client a specialist main contractor who have been prominent in the region for over 20 years now seek to appoint a high calibre individual in a Estimating Managers capacity to take responsibility for successfully managing all cost elements in the build up and submission of all major tenders.
What they require: To coordinate the whole financial/cost process and to work closely with the client, employers representatives and legislative bodies. You will be part of a dynamic bid / estimating team with the accountability for practical completion of all stages of complex tender proposals. To oversee, manage and co-ordinate the tender / cost planning in line with the design process, procurement and project team members to ensure that the information flow and progress achieve the necessary client and company deadlines. Promote the Company's activities to prospective Clients and identify, develop and obtain new business potential whilst also maintaining existing relationships. Should be able to demonstrate a stable career path with a reputable contractor. To have held full responsibility for the production, operational completion and financial management on a range of bids / tenders on major projects. Be able to operate hands-on in a non-confrontational manner and thrive in a team orientated environment whilst having the experience of successfully negotiating, managing and completing projects / bids. Experience of maximisation of financial return whilst maintaining and developing client relationships via service levels and quality of the management process.
