The Role

The Role One of my clients, a large consultancy in the Middle East, is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect.

Ideal candidate will have excellent Technical Writing skills, documentation, requirement gathering skills.

MUST have knowledge on multiple Networking / Systems technologies; cisco, juniper, Microsoft, VMWare, storage, etc.

MUST have prior experience of writing technical Proposals, technical responses to the requirements gathered form the clients, etc. Requirements

Requirements To manage application hosting. Including indinyfaing future infrastructure needs, current trends and design and creating proof of concepts on solutions to align with the functional strategy

To implement configuration management. Including, planning and creating company’s infrastructure designs and configurations adhering to industry best practices and aligning with the function strategy.

• Senior Solution architect Infrastructure will manage business process that is related to architecting Infrastructure, and support team activities and availability within the site, so that team members work in the most optimum way.

• Job holder will organize and support the team to track project deliverables; to ensure successful results

• Job holder will act as the point for all communications related to Solution architect, both with internal and external stakeholders, including Services Level Agreements, performance, service targets, human factor and management issues, so that all queries are dealt with and information is given and reported.

Exercises financial authorities at the level established by management for that position. Makes own decisions on matters within the purview of the job and refers major decisions and recommendations to the next higher level of supervision for advice and further handling. Keeping confidential information consists of any of employee, clients and related parties, copyrights and promised copyrights, personal information, business information, and any information that comes out of working in IT function should be maintained by the job holder.

Education: University or degree equivalent. Holding certificates on IT networking such as CCNP,CCIE or equivalent

Experience: 5+ years of IT networks experience (minimum 2 years on infrastructure design)
