This is an exciting opportunity to join the fund services arm of one the leading regional and global banks, within their investment banking and wealth management business unit. The funds services business, catering to third party funds in the Middle East, was launched in 2005 across Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and UAE. Principal Accountabilities:

Improve the fund services product proposition in line with the global capabilities and internal compliance requirement.

Launch fund services across new and emerging regional markets.

Expand beyond the traditional mutual fund platform and grow the capabilities within the alternative space, catering to hedge funds and private equity fund of funds.

Develop products for the discretionary Portfolio Managers.

Develop transfer agency capabilities.

Align the Funds Services model to global best practice and local regulatory procedures.

Ensure regional consistency across the various Middle East sites.

Coordinate with the Centre’s of Excellence to ensure a robust and efficient operationally hub catering for the growth of business.

Work with the regional business development team and the Middle East panches to ensure growth of the business in a controlled risk environment. Required Experience and Skills:

An accounting or business Degree or other qualifications relevant to the investment industry.

Five to eight years of funds administration experience is essential, within a tier one business or provider.

Detailed knowledge of investment accounting, investment valuations, custody services and investor services.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated project management experience.

Ability to cope with multiple priorities and coordinate the efforts of others in order to ping a process to closure.
