The Role

The Role • To ensure all the vessels are compliant with Saudi Aramco requirements from the beginning of the Contract to routine operations.

• Attend vessels pre-qualification inspections and any other Saudi Aramco surveys or inspections and ensure vessel is prepared for compliance.

• Ensure all reporting as per Saudi Aramco requirements is correctly done and responsible for closing out all inspections.

• Liaise with Saudi Aramco rig move masters to ensure vessels are smoothly operated.

• Liaise with Captains and Crew establishing and maintaining positive communication between vessel and office staff, promoting the safety and wellbeing of seafarers and Company property on a day to day basis

• The efficiency of this position is critical for ensuring that all vessels are operated in accordance with good marine practice, in compliance with Company and Client Procedures and Rules, and in accordance with all local and international laws and regulations. Requirements

Requirements Minimum Qualifications

• Master Mariner Certification

• Ship security officer certification

Minimum Experience

• Minimum 2 years on-shore experience as Port Captain on AHTS Vessels.

Job Specific skills

• AHTS Experience mandatory.

• DP1 experience not required but preferred

• STCW Certificates must be valid at all times

Generic skills

• Computer literate.

• Good Communication skills (written and oral) in English are desired.
