This role will be responsible for the management and supervision of internal audit activities within the Operations Audit Division. Responsible for assisting the Director of Internal Audit in initiating and managing different Audits across the operating entities of the company. Our client is a leading organisation where they are known to be a pioneer within their field, they command a large market share within their home country and across the GCC and are embarking on an aggressive international expansion strategy. As a result of this, our client requires a highly experienced Operations Audit – Senior Manager, ideally from a big four background with real estate or hospitality exposure. Reporting into the Director – Internal Audit you will be responsible for initiating and managing different Audits across the operating entities of the company. The role will also be responsible for: Effective and efficient execution of the part of the Internal Audit Plan related to the Operations Audit Division Manage, supervise and review all internal audit activities related to the reviews within the scope of the Operations Audit Division Supervise the work of outsourced consultants and / or manage the Internal Audit staff assigned to engagements related to the scope of the Operations Audit division. Ensure that all internal audit work is executed, delivered and reported in accordance with the quality levels adopted by the company Internal Audit department and stipulated in its Internal Audit Methodology and Manual Identify, understand and document processes and procedures surrounding internal controls Reviewing and approving detailed audit programs tailored to each audit to assure that no specific test or activities necessary for the Audit are over looked Review and record actions and plans taken by management to correct conditions reported by audit findings To be considered for this position you must have a recognised professional qualification in one of the following; CIA, CPA or ACCA (combination preferred) and have a bachelors Degree from a recognised University majoring in a relevant field.
