Maritime project Design Manager > Dubai, UAE
My client is looking for an experienced Marine and Coastal Engineer to act as a project and Design Manager for their Maritime division in the UAE. You will have the opportunity to lead a team of engineers in the delivery of key marine projects within the Emirate of Dubai and the UAE as a whole. You will also add to the business development activities of the company to ensure consistent future work within the sector.
This is a long term opportunity with a leading civil consultant. With a variety of large and exciting projects in hand and a number of tenders nearing award you will join a busy team in a managerial position, reporting directly to the General Manager.
Requirements: Degree qualified in Coastal or Marine Engineering. Minimum of 8 years experience in large capital marine projects. previous experience in the Middle East is desirable. Experience in business development, tender preparation, report writing, client consulting and team managements is essential. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent written skills and show a commercial and business development orientated attitude.
