MEP Engineer - Commissioning & Testing - Facilities Management Company  My client, a multinational facilities and waste management company have an immediate requirement for a number of MEP engineers to join their expanding team based on a prestigious project in Abu Dhabi
Required: Degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering Minimum of 5+ years experience in MEP engineering, with at least 2 years in the Middle East Candidates with previous experience in working for a Facilities Management company will be preferred Previous experience working on large scale projects is essential: Institutional, shopping malls, exhibition centers etc.  Reporting direct to the Commissioning Manager you will be responsible for the following: Assist the 3rd Party Independent Verifier to confirm that the Process, Procedures, Systems and Installations are in accordance with the Employers Requirements and Specifications Verification that the Commissioning & Testing of MEP Installations comply with the Employer's Requirements and the Basis of Design Management of the verification of the MEP Commissioning and Testing on the project Develop the Verification strategies with the Employer, the Employer's representatives, Designers and Constructors Assist in the preparation of Verification Check-sheets Assist in the preparation of Verification Certification Review and comment on Technical and Material Submittals, Method Statements and Testing & Inspection Plans Assist in the Regular update of the Verification Procedures and processes Attend site to witness and inspect Plant, Equipment and systems Testing and Commissioning activities. Prepare periodic reports on progress of Testing and Commissioning  Liaise with: The Designers to confirm the Basis of Design The Construction Team to validate and verify Commissioning and Testing Procedures The Employers technical representatives to confirm Employers requirements Attend Commissioning Meetings as directed by the 3rd Party Verifier Work as a key member of the Project Team and Work with the Project Team to ensure the plans and systems meet all statutory requirements and the company's objectives and policies.
