Procurement activities at the Pre-Tender and Tender stage of projects generally in accordance with the process diagram Procurement Involvement in Order Winning, GPF Volume 2, Section 4; Procurement activities (including purchasing, expediting, inspection and delivery) at the Execution (Fulfil Orders) stage of projects; ensuring appropriate resources are available to fulfil the Energy Divisions Procurement activities; recommendations for rationalisation and improvement of the companys Procurement activities to ensure effective sourcing of goods and services; establishment of pre-qualification criteria for the assessment of potential suppliers; establishment and maintenance of a database of Approved Suppliers maintaining relationships between the Company and its suppliers; establishing Discount / Strategic Agreements with selected suppliers; streamlining the Procurement processes by establishing and maintaining; pre-agreed terms, conditions and standards with selected suppliers, standard commercial terms and conditions for various categories of purchase, standard documentation for the Procurement activities; formulation of project specific contract conditions for suppliers of goods and services; commercial review of Credit Application forms; The Procurement Manager shall represent the Energy Division on the Quality Steering Committee and the Health, Safety and Environment Steering Committee and be the Local Environmental Champion for Rolls-Royce at the North Ryde offices. Quality Assurance Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the BU, etc Safety Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the BU, etc. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
Essential Skills/Experience Relevant Tertiary qualification in purchasing preferable or At least 10 years in senior Procurement roles within relevant industries Ability to establish and maintain workplace relationships Matching Indicators May have tertiary qualifications and 8 to 10 year's experience
