The role of the Business Analyst is to support the business and business processes with the IFS implementations and its users at all client sites. Get involved in identifying, facilitating and implementing new IFS processes and supporting existing ones in a controlled and structured way.
Overview of role: Work with the user community to gather and analyse new business requirements ~
• Identify and progress business benefit improvements within IFS • Supporting the business in ensuring that the business systems are operating efficiently as currently implemented • Co-ordinate processes including carrying out reviews of documentation and process improvements within IFS/Business • Discuss, challenge, negotiate, and agree opportunities for the efficient operation and improvement of business and application processes • Manage any IFS modification requirements using standard IFS functionality wherever possible • Assist the business in maintaining process and user guide documents to ensure they reflect current practice • Log and manage support issues whilst following the internal processes of the Applications team • Work alongside any IFS related projects to assist with and understand the solution • Developing and delivering relevant IFS training to users as and when required • As and when required, it may also be necessary to do business analysis work for other non IFS applications or projects Experience required; • Working knowledge of the IFS application ideally in versions App7.5, 2004 and 2003 • In depth knowledge in the IFS areas around sales order processing, supply chain, inventory management, manufacturing, planning, forecasting and finance
