Head of Audit

World leading industrial company is looking to recruit a Head of Internal Audit to be based in Dubai. The position reports to the Audit Committee of the Board, and administratively to the Group Finance Director. They are looking for a first class Head of Audit to cover the Middle East, North Africa and Asia regions.
This is a newly created position to set up and implement a risk based, strategic audit function. You will be responsible for reviewing existing controls and processes across financial, technical and operational audits, as well as ad-hoc investigations. You will then progress the audit function including the recruitment and development of a global standard internal audit team. Because you will be dealing with senior management and shareholders on regular basis, credibility is essential in this role.
You will need to possess a considerable number of years experience within an international company at Group level. Industrial experience is heavily favourable, particularly from a water background. Ideally you will be located in, (more...) BCS
