Exciting opportunity for a sales professional to join a global, growing, wealth management company.
SEI Investments has been established in the Dubai International Financial Centre since February 2008.
SEI’s activities in the Middle East are focused on the markets in the GCC (Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia).
SEI has established key strategic partnerships in the region, and continues to broaden out our distribution and institutional client coverage.
The role of the Dubai based team is to service and support our existing partnerships and work with the SEO to develop new strategic relationships around the region, both distribution and institutional.
KEY OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE: Achieve targets of raising assets, set through the development and maintenance of existing and new relationships (banks and institutions).
Responsibilities:
To clearly and effectively present SEI solutions to a variety of audiences covering private and institutional bankers and end-client pitches to institutional and private clients.
CLIENT MANAGEMENT Provide proactive support and service to clients to help them develop their business strategies and to position SEI solutions to their end users. Training clients and ensure they understand SEI’s solutions and product offerings. Provide on-site support for SEI solutions for clients and their end users to ensure full appreciation of the SEI proposition, performance to date, etc and how this has impacts/helps them achieve their objectives. Utilise the Client Investment Strategy team where appropriate. Provide proactive, effective and timely resolution of all client issues. Effective management of the client relationship to maximise client retention.
NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT Work with distribution partners to identify new business sources. Identify and pre-qualify leads through effective research, marketing, networking, etc Manage quality leads through a full sales cycle to effective close of business. This includes effective research, first calls, preparation of pitches for meetings, carrying out presentations, close of deal, etc
TARGETS Consistently work towards and achieve team and individual targets that are set. These can be fiscal as well as competency based.
BEST PRACTICE/OTHER Keep Current (market conditions, regulation, SEI products and services, etc) and maintain ongoing and effective communication of these with clients. Adhere to all relevant DFSA requirements and compliance. Maintenance and updating of sales database, ensuring integrity of data. Any other ad-hoc projects/duties as required.
Candidate Requirements: Ideally degree educated Fluent Arabic A proven track record in developing new business/managing key accounts within private banking/asset management. The ability to pick up in-depth knowledge of SEI products and services/technical financial information and effectively communicate that to relevant clients/audiences.
