Our client who are a significant member of the Middle Eastern banking community have asked us to assist in the hire of a Solutions Architect to assist in the overall establishment and on-going usage/maintenance of the Banks technology strategy.
Description
Define implementation strategies for new technologies and application architectures. Lead teams in the evolution of the enterprise including evaluation of the use of cloud technology and web applications integration. Create analysis and detailed technical designs of multi-platform system architectures that adhere to the client's technology strategies, mandates and governance requirements. Participate in the creation and review of system requirements. Review proposed system specifications to identify gaps and impacts. Recognize the impact of project design decisions on both a project and enterprise level, and raise issues for resolution. Drive systems integration activities through broad information technology expertise and strong teamwork and communication. Coordinate with the project team, business partners, and contractors to resolve issues. Facilitate discussions among diverse groups regarding system integration tasks to gain consensus on meeting project goals and objectives. Advise technology management and business partners in the purchase and usage of software, hardware, user-device, and communications technologies to fully support a business function. Facilitate the introduction and integration of new technologies and application architectures, collaborating with cross functional teams and suppliers. Leverage technical team to apply technical solutions to client business problems. Research and test new technologies in alignment with technology strategies. Recommend automated tools required to enhance the client's GSS, such as asset management, network monitoring, auto discovery, software testing and environment management tools. Requirements Experience in enterprise architecture; implementation of new technologies such as cloud technology and web applications. Experience with detail technical designs of multi platform system architectures; ability to drive system integration activities; experience with researching and testing new technologies; recommending automated tools; and facilitating the introduction and integration of new technologies. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
