Leap29 has been commissioned by an international consultancy to recruit a Structural Engineer specialised in the design and site supervision of bridges and tunnels. Our client is an organisation expanding its operations in Saudi Arabia and currently working on an infrastructure contract in the heart of Riyadh. This project involves the rehabilitation and widening of several tunnels and bridges.
The ideal candidate will be Bachelors qualified with no less than 10 years experience working in the design and supervision sector for reputable international consultancies - longevity within these companies and roles is highly desired. The candidate will have previously worked on major contracts, ideally in the Middle East, on the design of culverts, bridges and tunnels. Experience in post-tension and pre-stress concrete tunnels/bridges is essential.
The role will invariably require the candidate to supervise the local contractor on site and candidates must be comfortable in a site situation as well as the design office. Applications from British nationals would be welcomed.
In compensation, the candidate will receive a tax-free basic salary, dependent upon experience. An accommodation allowance is included as well as a company car, return flights to the UK and private healthcare. Holiday allowance is one month unpaid vacation time plus all Saudi public holidays on top.
