I am currently looking for an SC Cleared Maritime Operational Analyst for a 3 month contract based in the UK and Saudi Arabia. Rates are flexible and the role is due to start in February.
You will be responsible for conducting operational analysis activities to support the development of a concept of operations (CONOPS) for a maritime capability in support of a major modernization programme. You will be responsible for the delivery of a defined package of work and for the delivery of defined deliverables to time and to the satisfaction of the client. You will report to and take direction from the Maritime Strategy CONOPS Manager.
This activity involves investigating current requirements documentation and engagement with a wide variety of client stakeholders. You will support the definition and development of operational objectives and missions, key scenarios, use cases, mission thread and business processes, high level performance criteria, and capability mapping in order to define the Maritime CONOPS. You will gather key performance metrics and conduct optimisation analysis and modelling in order to make recommendations to the client on the balance of capability required to deliver their CONOPS.
Qualifications
* Graduate in Engineering/Business or equivalent
* Postgraduate qualifications or equivalent
Essential Criteria
* Previous maritime experience either in maritime operations or maritime support
* Previous experience of maritime capability analysis, modelling and CONOPS
* Understanding and experience of complex acquisition in maritime domain
* Strong communication skills
* Proven analytical skills
* Track record of successful client liaison
