Director Capital Markets Unicorn Investment Bank Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Ref: HP948-17 Unicorn Investment Bank The Role The Role In November 2008, Unicorn was awarded a license by Saudi Arabias Capital Markets Authority (CMA) to establish operations in the Kingdom, subject to the receipt of a commencement letter from the CMA. Unicorn Capital Saudi Arabia (UCSA) is currently fulfilling the regulatory and operational requirements to commence operation. UCSA is a subsidiary of Unicorn Investment Bank B.S.C. (c) and is looking to appoint a Director, Capital Markets, based in Riyadh, to work closely with the CEO and COO in Saudi and the Head of Capital Markets in Bahrain, to support the implementation and execution of Unicorns capital market activities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities include: * Identifying prospective clients in KSA * Participating in and supporting market development activities, visits & calls to existing clients and or prospects * Research, document and execute preliminary reviews and analysis; market trends, sector, company etc. * Increase UCSAs activities in; o Debt/Equity raising through Sukuk or Syndicated Facility o Refinancing and capital structuring o Appraisals & Feasibility studies o Financial Valuations o Ratings Advisory for the issuers and issues o capital markets structured products * Service and liaise with the Capital Markets Team in Bahrain to supporting existing UCSA clients and assist in winning and executing new mandates * Support networking activities with other financial institutions to explore alliances or joint ventures * winning mandates and or syndicating transactions from a debt /equity raising or Sukuk perspective Requirements Requirements To be considered for this role candidates must have; * 5+ years Capital Markets experience in a major financial institution, consulting firm or transaction teams of a big 4 * successful track record in winning mandates, closing & executing transactions * relevant educational and Professional qualifications (CA/CPA, MBA, CFA, etc.) * Middle Eastern experience ideally with networks in KSA * Strong marketing skills * Strong analytical skills * Strong communication & interpersonal skills * Fluency in Arabic and in English In return we offer a highly professional environment that is dynamic and challenging to driven, self-motivated Capital Markets professionals looking for a varied, interesting and rewarding opportunity to develop their careers.
