Job Code: RHD/09/003 Primary Purpose Of The Job: Senior Technician (Industrial Hygiene), is responsible to assist Senior Industrial Hygienist in protecting workforce health and well-being at all levels in all areas, from health/hygiene hazards that can result from chemical, biological or physical factors in the work environment. The incumbent also conducts health surveys throughout the workplace (field and office) to identify occupational health hazards and diseases to evaluate associated risks and propose/develop/implement methods to control such risk. Education: Science or Engineering or HSE diploma from an internationally recognized educational institution, with formal training in Occupational Hygiene Registered Occupational Hygienist and/or Certified Industrial Hygienist Experience & Skills: 6 years of related experience Practical working knowledge of accepted Occupational Hygiene practices and industry standards and general investigative techniques. Strong working knowledge of equipment and sampling/survey techniques. Strong written and spoken English, with proven ability in the writing of procedures, Strong communication, administrative, time management and organizational skills, Strong computer competency skills particularly with Excel, Access and WHMIS/MSDS systems. Ability to analyse data, interpret results & communicate plan to employees at all levels, Hold a valid driving license
