Under the general guidance and supervision of the Sales Director,oversees all aspects of the Sales office administration, and ensure that requirements for the Sales Department are executed and followed up by all Sales personnel.
1. Attends to inquires and reservations, prepares proposals, solicits new accounts, and activates passive accounts for the Director of Sales approval
2. Attends show rounds in the hotel as and when required.
3. prepares comparative studies of Sales statistics of other hotels on a quarterly basis.
4. prepares monthly reports of no shows and cancellations for the management.
5. Ensures that productivity of sales reports are circulated to all concerned departments on a monthly basis.
6. Ensures proper follow-up of Trace Files, (chase and release dates) is done daily.
7. Handles the co-ordination and ordering of the followings:
. Office stationery, office supplies, timesheets, holidays forms request etc.
. Files of invoices, purchase orders, weekly expenses reports for Sales personnel
. Liase with accounts concerning deposit and credit of new accounts.
. Maintain a data base of clients, Old and New of (Corporate, Leisure and Exhibition)
8. Ensures that sales appointments are properly entered in the diary.
