Job Code: PRD/09/002 Primary Purpose of The Job: To develop and promote the image of the Corporation through public awareness campaigns, advertising and sponsorship of national and international events. Develops and supervises the implementation of the annual corporate publicity plans and supervises development and implementation. Develops positive working relationships with local and international media outlets and advertising agencies, promotes QPs initiatives, activities and programs, Undertakes research, writes and edits media releases and recommends approval and distribution of media releases to local and international media pertaining to QPs initiatives and achievements. Develops and monitors the implementation of advertisement and publicity awareness campaigns for events and conferences; Provides advice regarding sponsorship and advertising proposals; develops and implements and monitors appropriate and effective communication strategies/proposals as agreed and approved by management. Education: B.A. in communications, public relations or journalism plus knowledge of market research, statistics, general business practices, and business writing and report preparation. Experience & Skills: At least 6 years increasingly responsible experience in media relations, advertising and public relations. Bilingual (English and Arabic). Must be computer literate. Good communication skills.
