Job Code: EPD/09/001 Primary Purpose Of The Job: The primary purpose of the job is to; (1) be the primary interface for domestic supply of sales gas and ethane gas feedstock; (2) develop annual plans for supply of gas in collaboration with producing units and customers; (3) schedule monthly and daily gas nominations and monitor the performance of the supplies with respect to contractual obligations; (4) record contractual issues with respect to supply volumes, delays in receiving payments from customers, product specifications, etc., and bring them to the notice of management; (5) participate in negotiations for gas supply agreements; (6) gather market intelligence on regional and international gas markets and advise future gas demand in the domestic market. Education: B.Sc degree in engineering, business, economics, industrial sales or marketing. An MBA degree would be preferable. Experience & Skills: Minimum 8 years of experience in energy industry in sales and marketing of piped gas to industrial customers, of which 4 years in a supervisory capacity in a major oil and gas organization. Should be familiar with international gas and refined products business. Extensive knowledge of marketing gas or oil products internationally. Familiar with gas producing plants, and technical processes of consumers such as power plants and petrochemical and cement plants. Good knowledge of product specifications. Excellent communications skills including English language drafting abilities. Strong telephone etiquettes, client service abilities and interpersonal skills. Good time management skills. Well developed mathematical and analytical skills. Negotiations and economic analysis experience.
