Platform Architect Optical Networks Eutopia Solutions Qatar Ref: HP590-35 Eutopia Solutions The Role The Role Leading company in Qatar requires a Platform Architect responsible for the technical and process standards for optical networks and working with other Platform Engineers to ensure that the organisations infrastructure operates in unison. This will include management of the entire product engineering cycle, including but not limited to conceptualisation, design and development, proof of concept, integration, costing/budgeting, technical documentation, operational documentation, market documentation and training. The Platform Architect is the highest level of technical and operational escalation. The role involves providing technical expertise and knowledge to the required business units in order to drive revenue opportunities; therefore excellent business acumen in addition to proven technical abilities is essential. Technical requirements include: Working knowledge of MPLS VON, Multi cast, voice and video. SAN experience. Knowledge of Cisco ONS DWDM platform, OSR (7600 series) and CRS series router platforms. Design experience of routing protocol in complex networks. Cisco accreditation; ideally CCIE. Zachman, ITIL, CMMI or equivalent experience. Understanding of firewall technology required.
