Leading financial institution seeks an Executive level candidate to Head-up Corporate Credit fuction. The candidate must have held an individual signing authority for a minimum of $50 Million USD and have worked in an International or large regional Bank. Excellent role and prospects.
Responsible for maintaining quality of Credit portfolios,approve Credit proposals within authorised limits, assist RM's in structuring credit lines, ensure compliance to all guidelines, ensure timely preparation of non-performing loan report.
Other duties:
1. Support development of Credit Risk policies, standards and practices for approval,measurement, reporting, managing limits and analysis of risk.
2. Develop Credit Risk management culture
3. Develop effective partnership with the business
4. Assist Division Heads in defining portfolio strategies
5. Monitor actual portfolio against target portfolio and work with Business Management to ensure portfolio driven towards target portfolio within time frame.
6. Determine "material" policy exceptions
7. Establish Risreporting requirements.
8. Direct teams of Senior/ Credit Officers for managing bank portfolio
Skills / Experience required:
Absolute minimum of 10 years in a Corporate Credit Risk function within a similarly large Financial Institution. Knowledge of Retal Credit also a plus. Knowledge of regulatory environment, end Source: EFCG
