Electronics Service Manager Domasco Al Futtaim Group Doha, Qatar Ref: HP698-783 Al Futtaim Group The Role The Role Doha Marketing Services Company W.L.L. (DOMASCO), an overseas joint venture of the reputable UAE-based Al Futtaim Group, has been operating business in Qatar for 15 years and has sole distribution rights for Honda, Volvo cars and trucks, reputed pands of watches and electronics such as Raymond Weil, Casio and Sanyo as well as Yanmar marine engines in the country. We are currently looking to recruit experienced Service Manager for our Electronics Division. The primary focus of the role will be to ensure that the Service Department operates to the highest professional standards and meet or exceed the service revenue budgets and help in achieving overall departmental objectives. The main duties within the role include the following: Quality Aftersales Service: Provide efficient and professional after sales service and installation of air-conditioning equipment and appliances marketed by the company in to maximize customer satisfaction. Smooth Operations: Effectively organize the daily service operations of the Service Department to enable it to function smoothly which enables to optimize call attendance and maximize customer satisfaction. Cash Collection: Ensure proper collection, reconciliation and handover of the daily cash collections to Finance Department. Housekeeping and Timekeeping: Maintain the Service Center and tools and equipment in a clean, tidy and proper working condition as per normal or company prescribed standards. Local Purchases: Ensure that stock of consumables and accessories are provided to installation teams and repair/service team to achieve timely and quality installation, service and repair results. Management Information: Compile, collate information on warranty, service complaints, parts non-availability, operational problems, tool requirements, etc. and provide the same to Supervisor to enable initiate appropriate decision making process. Staff Management: Ensure service staff are appropriately motivated and adequately trained to help achieve high levels of efficiency, delivery of quality output and adherence to safety and work standards. Coordination on Project Work: Provide support to installation team to estimate installation costs which assists in the procuring of orders for the company which maximizes sales and gross margin for the Division. Special Assignment: To carry out special assignments as and when called upon by the Sales Manager at any time to maximize revenue or provide customer satisfaction Requirements Requirements The ideal candidate will have the following experience: Essential to have at least 5 years experience in a similar sales position in a large structured organization dealing in airconditioners, refrigeration and home appliances Ability to run the Service Center on a profitable basis Possess technical knowledge and diagnostic skills in the field of A/C and Refrigeration Ability to handle difficult and demanding suppliers and customers, ensuring achievement of customer satisfaction Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written Good command of the English language and Arabic is preferable Excellent organizational skills Ability to deal effectively with pressure and stress Degree in A/C and Refrigeration or Mechanical Engineering is essential Good knowledge of MS Office products About the Company About the Company Established in the 1930's, the Al-Futtaim Group initially operated as a trading enterprise.
