Job Code: CTD/08/005 Primary Purpose Of The Job: To identify with Line Departments and Corporate Manpower, Long-term industrial training needs for Qatar Petroleum, its subsidiary and Joint Venture Companies. Plan, organize and run full and part time training courses and programs designed to meet these requirements. Liaise with Administration and Training services to establish Training Facilities at Doha, Mesaieed, Dukhan and Ras Laffan industrial areas. Ensure that the off-site training meets organizational needs and is integrated with valid and effective on-job training. Plan all programs to QPs needs, considering all related influencing factors, availability of manpower and budget constrains. Establish partnership with internationally accredited training organizations for the provision an assessment of competency-based training making up a qualification in engineering and other training packages. Being the only specialized Vocational Training Centre in Qatar, this job is the first line receiver of young Qatari nationals to be trained to meet the demands of qualified national workforce needed by industry, without which QPs Strategic Qatarization Plan cannot be achieved. Education: BSC in an Engineering discipline and/or in Vocational Education, or equivalent. Certification in Training and Assessment. High proficiency and expertise in leadership and communication skills (English and Arabic). Experience: Minimum 10 years industrial experience of which 5 year should have been in a training capacity.
