Six Senses Hideaway Zighy Bay is secluded on Omanâs northern Musandam peninsula. It is designed with 82 pool Villas and pool Villa Suites with a private marina. The dramatic setting has mountains on one side and a beach at the other. The Six Senses Spa focuses on holistic wellness and rejuvenation.
Responsibilities include:
- plans, directs and oversees the implementation of comprehensive safety/security systems for protection of our guests, the resort and our hosts;
- plans and directs security/safety hosts and outsourced safety/security personnel;
- trains hosts and outsources safety/security personnel on all security related aspects;
- inspects premises to determine safety/security needs and studies physical condition;
- observes activities, and to confers with hosts to obtain data regarding internal operations;
- analyzes compiled data and to plan and directs installation of electronic security systems;
- directs installation and checks operation of electronic security equipment;
- investigates crimes committed against our guests, the resort and our hosts;
- conducts or directs surveillance of suspects and premises to apprehend culprits;
- reports criminal information to authorities and testifies in court when necessary;
- identifies and appraises conditions which could produce accidents and financial losses and evaluates potential extent of injuries resulting from accidents;
- develops accidentp-revention and loss-control systems and programs for incorporation into operational policies of organization;
- coordinates safety activities of managers to ensure implementation of safety activities throughout organization;
- compiles, analyzes, and interprets statistical data related to exposure factors concerning occupational illnesses and accidents and prepares reports for information of personnel concerned;
- maintains liaison with outside organizations, such as fire departments, mutual aid societies, and rescue teams to assure information exchange and mutual assistance. Devises methods to evaluate safety program and conducts or directs evaluations;
- evaluates technical and scientific publications concerned with safety/security management and participates in activities of related professional organizations to update knowledge of safety/security program developments;
- stores and retrieves statistical data, using computer.
Experience: Three or more years of progressive safety/security managerial experience in a resort or hotel, and have experience in a luxury lifestyle brand. International resort or hotel experienced is preferred. Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is acceptable.
Qualifications: A Bachelorâs degree required with experience preferred in law enforcement or fire protection.
Languages: Knowledge in both Arabic and English is essential with the ability to communicate clearly and knowledge; abilities in other languages would be beneficial.
