Product Manager Home Voice Nawras Oman Ref: GP843-60 Nawras The Role The Role You will be responsible to develop, launch and manage Home Voice services (Carrier Select, Pre-selection, VoIP over WiMax etc.) to meet or exceed targets as per the business case. You will be responsible to analyze existing market insight and mandate new market research and competitive analysis as a basis for the positioning and design of a highly competitive product portfolio in your domain. You will also be responsible for the following: - Develop, maintain and control detailed specifications for new fixnet products and services in his/her domain - Working with peers to develop bundles including Internet access, fixed voice and ISP services - Working with the technical teams to generate design documents and processes - Coordinate implementation of products between network and IT, Customer Service and suppliers to ensure a launch on time, in budget and to specifications - Perform Sales and Customer Service training (train the trainer) and providing input for user guides, user interfaces etc. - Make sure that a comprehensive set of business rules, activation forms, welcome packs, price and product sheets, FAQ etc. are available in due time for launch - Conduct UAT(User Acceptance Testing) to ensure all requirements from the user perspective are deployed - Manage the go-to-market process - Following the launch, monitor product performance in terms of uptake, usage and customer satisfaction, and take appropriate actions to further develop his/her products in terms of revenues and margins - Proactively manage product lifecycle, taking an active role in making future business plans - Have an updated knowledge on competitor products and initiatives Requirements Requirements You have a University degree (Commercial, IT, Telecom or MBA) or strong work experience within a related area. You have minimum of 4 years of experience in Product Development and Management and minimum of two years experience with a fixed or mobile telecom operator. You are customer focused and detail/quality oriented. You have a structured approach in managing parallel tasks and decisions. You have excellent analytical skills and communication skills (fluent in English, Arabic is a plus). you are flexible, a team player and excellent user of MS applications.
