He will design, plan & manage the operational resources including the key suppliers ensuring value addition to customers & company who is a global player in comprehensive end to end logistics solutions, 3rd party logistic services, transportation, shipping and marine services, warehousing and transit facilities, haulage and aviation. Requirements Requirements Primary Job Responsibilities of Operations Manager - Oman will be to : Assist the set-up operations processes, Standard Operating Procedures, systems & controls of the operations (operational processes, policies & procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, staff recruitment, training, selection of suppliers..etc) Develop & Execute the Operations plans & other quality/productivity initiatives to ensure continual improvement Selection of suppliers & supplier development Develop & execute logistics solutions to enhance both internal (Integrated Business Planning ) & external (customer) value addition To be involved with the anchor clients logistics planning process in order to plan & executive the transport management operation efficiently & effectively Ensure compliance in Health, Environment & Safety / Quality in all areas of operations Set Ops targets/KPIs & performance evaluation of same on regular basis ensuring continual improvement Motivate, Direct & Develop the team to achieve their goals & targets Requirements: A bachelors degree &/or similar professional qualification. Minimum of 05 years experience in the transport/distribution management operations with at least 02 years experience in a similar capacity Excellent Analytical skills A good command of English both written & spoken Excellent relationship management & negotiation skills Experience with ERP (Enterprise resource planning ) / WMS (Warehouse management system) / TMS (Transportation Management System) will be an advantage Experience in overseas logistics (involved in transport/distribution management operations (especially in Oman or other GCC countries) would be definite advantage (experience in the oil & gas industry & PDO related transportation in Oman would be a key advantage) Candidates matching the above criteria, desirous of relocation to this World Class logistics organization can apply online.
