The hotel IT Manager is r esponsible for short and long term planning, implementation and day-to-day operations of all hotel technology components, processes and related areas. He / She is responsible to ensure the professional and effective running of the day-to-day technology operation in accordance with all Brand Service, Global and Divisional Technology Standards and in line with Starwood Hotels and Resorts policies and procedures as well as recommending budget and managing expenses/margins within approved budget constraints.
Qualifications Â
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

Fluent English Required, Internet technologies, MS Office applications, highly motivated, naturally curious, excellent verbal and written communications skills, effective planner, organization and team skills.
Â
preferred skills: General project and vendor management skills, knowledge of voice and data network technologies, general hotel operations, Fidelio/Opera property Management System and related IT.
Â
Experience: Hotel Systems Support and Operating Department preferred
