IP/MPLS Engineer-Operations Expert Nawras CTOENGIPMPLS 70210, Oman Ref: GP843-70 Nawras The Role The Role You will supervise assigned staff at the level determined by senior management, designs and implements IP network solutions. You will conduct acceptance testing of all IP/MPLS related projects, managing the traffic flow in the MPLS network. You will analyses statistical data and come up with appropriate suggestions, perform operation and maintenance of the MPLS Network, analyses the bandwidth utilization and advises any expansion needed. You will work with others to achieve the gradual migration from TDM to fully IP Network, coordinates with IT to ensure that sufficient bandwidth is available towards the internet, accepts installed equipment, approves IP/MPLS performance results, successfully implements of IP/MPLS projects, managing MPLS capacity and quality and introducing new technologies as plans. Requirements Requirements You should have a Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with intensive training in IP/MPLS networks and minimum 3 years of relevant experience in IP/MPLS/Packet Backbone Networks. You should have experience in design requirements on the IP network related to Telecom such as GPRS, mobile soft, switch architecture and service layer components with a strong Knowledge of IP and related protocols, IP backbone products and their configurations such as L2-L3 switches, Routers, Firewalls.
