HSE / HES / QA Manager Logistics & Transportation Ma Foi Management Consultants Oman Ref: HP011-543 Ma Foi Management Consultants The Role The Role The HSE / HES / QA Manager (Health, Environment & Safety / Quality Assurance) will be responsible for the development & execution of the HES/QA processes, controls & initiatives. He will ensure compliance to PDO/ROP (Petroleum Development Oman / Royal Oman Police) & other industry benchmarks (both local & international). He will design, plan & manage HES/QA (Health, Environment & Safety / Quality Assurance) area ensuring value addition to customers & company which is a global player in comprehensive end to end logistics solutions, 3rd party logistic services, transportation, shipping and marine services, warehousing and transit facilities, haulage and aviation. Requirements Requirements Job Purpose: The HSE / HES/QA Manager (Health, Environment & Safety / Quality Assurance) will be responsible for the development & execution of the HES/QA processes, controls & initiatives. He will ensure compliance to PDO/ROP (Petroleum Development Oman / Royal Oman Police) & other industry benchmarks (both local & international). He will design, plan & manage HES/QA (Health, Environment & Safety / Quality Assurance) area ensuring value addition to customers & company Primary Job Responsibilities: Assist the set-up of the HES/QA (Health, Environment & Safety / Quality Assurance) processes, Standard Operating Procedures, systems & controls (processes, policies & procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, staff recruitment, training to staff..etc) Develop & Execute the HES/QA (Health, Environment & Safety / Quality Assurance) plans & other quality/productivity initiatives to ensure continual improvement and compliance in all areas HES/QA (Health, Environment & Safety / Quality Assurance) training & development for the staff & for key suppliers (transport vendors) Ensure compliance of the HES/QA (Health, Environment & Safety / Quality Assurance) requirements with the suppliers & their assets (i.e. vehicles), ensuring compliance to PDO & other local/international benchmarks/regulations Set HES/QA targets/Key Performance Indicators & performance evaluation of same on regular basis ensuring continual improvement Requirements: A bachelors degree preferably in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a Science field. A postgraduate degree will be an advantage HES (Health, Environment & Safety ) professional qualifications (The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health - NEBOSH) is a must Minimum of 5 years experience in the HES area (experience in oil & gas industry in Oman or other GCC would be a key advantage) with at least 1 year experience in a similar capacity Experience with ISO 9000:2001 Excellent analytical skills A good command of English both written & spoken Excellent relationship management Candidates matching the above criteria, desirous of relocation to this World Class logistics organization can apply online.
