Finance Director Nawras Oman Ref: GP843-33 Nawras The Role The Role You will plan for the Finance function on a long term and short-term basis to reflect the objectives of the Company. Works closely with Top management to carry out these objectives. Receives specific strategic mandates from the Chairman's and Chief Executive Officer's Office. You will carry out due diligence on corporate financial dealings and ensures the designated checks are carried out. Analyses and evaluates the financial performance of the whole of the Company against planned financial goals and objectives to measure the effectiveness of planning and implementation processes. You will identify policy requirements for Finance ensuring a cohesive set of Company policies designed to meet both the immediate and long term planning of the Company, investigates and reviews Financial, Billing and Procurement system requirements and identifies and implements the best options available for the Company.Oversees the budget creation and management on an ongoing basis. You will provide Management information to senior on all aspects of Finance, Procurement, Billing and Collection to top management on a regular and ad hoc basis as required. Works closely with outside governmental and non-governmental organizations to provide information, meet legal and governmental requirements and ensure that the relationships with Government and non-government organizations are maintained at a level to benefit the Company and its operations.Oversees the procurement and contracts function to ensure the policies and procedures adequately meet the requirements of the Company for the both the immediate short term situation and the foreseeable future in addition to liaising with Senior Management on a daily basis on key financial issues. Requirements Requirements You will have degree in Finance or ACA, CPA or similar qualification. An MBA with the emphasis on Corporate Finance would be an advantage. With 12 to 15 years in financial management of which at least 8 years must have been at a senior level with preferably within a telecoms environment. Experience with IPO's is extremely desirable.
