We have a requirement for a Deputy Project Director of Construction for a new terminal at Muscat Airport in Oman.
Job Role: You will be responsible for 3 Project Managers and report to the Project Director The overall project management, supervision, coordination and successful completion of the project in accordance with client requirements, organizational policies/ procedures, contract specifications, and time and cost specifications. You will establish and implement project plans, manage project budgets and resources, enforce project standards, forecast revenues and profitability, and manage all quality assurance aspects and change control processes. You will identify project barriers and recommend risk mitigation techniques, induct technical reviews, manage team allocation, mobilize qualified personnel for specified tasks, and prepare monthly progress reports. This role is working for a Main Contractor on the Muscat Airport expansion project in Oman. This project includes concrete and steel structure works.
Candidate Requirements: Must have 30 years experience of working on a breadth of heavy construction projects, involving in depth knowledge of different engineering activities. Also proven record of Project Management is required as well as high level of analytical and communication skills. Previous experience on airport projects would be an asset. Must be fluent in English. Must have a degree in Civil Engineering JSU
