Description Should have 4 years diploma or equivalent with minimum 10 years experience in Oil & Gas or Petro-chemicals or major companies in Design/engineering section.
5 years experience in commissioning and operation/maintenance of running plant will be given preference.
Site/Construction Supervisors are required to plan, execute and supervise all field related activities related to construction, work permits, enforcement of EHS policies, co ordination with external third part agencies, quality checks, progress monitoring, testing and commissioning.
Supervisors should be computer literate
Should have sufficient knowledge about engineering codes and standards to understand design basis.
Supervisors are to be responsible for marking-up as built drawings and documents in addition to preparation of monthly/weekly reports. They may be required to assist the engineers in the review of engineering drawings /documents for developing project scope of work. The contract period is one year (Non renewable).Job location- Sohar (230 Kms NW of Muscat) General cycle is 5 days work, 2 days leave. This practice will be for a complete year. If need be then 30-40 days at a stretch. Payment will be made for overtime. RG
