Bilingual Secretary to the Chairperson & Board Large Finance Company Carter Murray Oman Ref: HP662-125 Carter Murray The Role The Role Bilingual Secretary to the Chairperson and Board large finance company - OMAN This is an extremely important bilingual Arabic/ English role; within a prestigious large financial organisation. You will manage the secretarial functions in the office of the chairperson and provide secretarial support to the board. This is a demanding, deadline driven role in a busy environment. This role provides excellent progression opportunities for exemplary performance. You must have excellent communication skills in written and spoken Arabic and English Duties include: Coordinate meetings and manage diaries. Correspondence timely reply, communicate and follow up responses. Minutes Preparation attend meetings, record discussions, draft minutes, seek approval, circulate and follow-up actions needed in order to disseminate agreed action. Receive and answer telephone queries, direct calls and follow up. Review customer complaints, follow-up with departments, advise customers in order to ensure that complaints are responded promptly. Deliver a high standard of work performance and customer service, including handling and processing customer complaints and queries correctly. Coordinate, organize, prepare, action report in order to prepare timely visit reports. Office management - collect, segregate, organize PC and correspondence files in order to support retrieval of information and for future references. Audit & Compliance - Review audit reports, action agreed recommendations, follow-up, comply with DTPs in order that audit observation/compliance issues are attended to. communicate with management and colleagues to ensure effective workflow. Produce consistently accurate work to deadline. Ensure all manpower related and other work complies with Omani Laws, Banks policies, procedures and standards. Serve management, senior staff and Bank staff courteously. Foster and maintain good relations with other departments and staff. Requirements Requirements Education and Experience: Diploma in Secretarial skills or equivalent. 5 years relevant experience. Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of basic Banking operations Knowledge of Secretarial management. Ability to assess and give proper feedback on optional candidates. Ability to draft and process own correspondence. Attention to detail and accuracy. Computer literate. Good organization, records management and secretarial skills. Mature and confidential disposition, team player with good interpersonal skills. Acquire good knowledge of related work and bank facilities in general. Language: Excellent communication skills in written and spoken Arabic and English.
