Senior Project Engineer pidge/Structures KEO International Consultants Kuwait, Kuwait Ref: HP881-218 KEO International Consultants The Role The Role KEO International Consultants is a world ranked and leading Architectural, Engineering, and Project and Construction Management firm with offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Bahrain, Dubai, Kuwait, Qatar and Oman. Working within KEOs Infrastructure Division, the Senior Project Engineer will be part of a growing design team delivering some of the most prestigious transportation design projects across the Gulf Region. Qualified candidates will be required to demonstrate experience in the following: Demonstrated design of pidges (vehicular & pedestrian), retaining walls, and other structures as either stand-alone projects or in conjunction with roadways. Full pidge design responsibilities for substructures and superstructures as well as undertaking retaining wall design with minimal guidance. Proven capability in preparing cost estimations and specifications. Proven ability in the supervision and management of a team with regard to all aspects of Concept, Preliminary and Final Design stages. Responsible for quality control, maintaining quality standards in all work produced, checking computations and/or reviewing designs and drawings performed by others. Sound knowledge of AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials) and pitish standards. Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Excel as well as proficiency in the use of STAAD-Pro and related software. Requirements Requirements Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 12 years post graduate experience in structures, 8 years of which includes experience in the design of complex/non-complex structures, prestressed reinforced concrete, steel and retaining walls. Masters degree in Civil Engineering will be viewed favorably as is registration of a recognized Professional Engineering Board such as PE (Professional Engineer) or C.Eng (Chartered Engineer). Previous experience gained within a Consultancy would be highly beneficial, whilst prior experience in the Gulf Region is advantageous. All applications will be treated confidentially.
