Senior Manager Oil & Gas Advisory NSI Kuwait Ref: KP709-05 NSI The Role The Role Senior Manager's required for a Multi National Professional Services organisation for both Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. My client is a global leader within the advisory sector and they are currently looking for 2 strong Senior Manager's with excellent Oil & Gas industry vertical experience. The role will involve building the local team and providing the long-term vision and leadership. The successful candidate will be working with other senior executives with a focus on sales generation, with deep industry acumen and delivery skills. The priorities for the role include: Targeting potential new clients, opportunities and driving the presales and proposal preparation activities, while developing and nurturing existing client relationships; Effectively managing the Resources Opportunities in Kuwait or KSA Cooperating with the regional leadership and collaborating effectively for the success of the business in Kuwait or KSA Supervising multiple industry-related projects and ensuring high-quality delivery; Building/Counselling/mentoring and couching for junior team members and the poader staff; Building business acumen of the Resources industry (mainly Oil&Gas) in the local practice Key responsibilities may include: Shaping and leading programs that translate results from business diagnosis and planning into transformation programs/projects; Identifying and prioritizing account-level value creation opportunities based on assessment activities and an understanding of client high level visions, performance gaps, and needs; Translating and conveying client business needs into tangible business solution architecture; Shaping and leading effort to define organization processes, capabilities, application of key technologies and performance measurements/KPIs; Shaping and leading business transformational and other programs; Leveraging the full range of appropriate client and internal resources in designing the change plan; Assessing and managing risk throughout all aspects of the business solution implementation; Monitoring and managing target value and performance goals (e.g., strategic, financial and operations), ensuring planned business outcomes are achieved and adjusting program if necessary; Leading effective multi-disciplinary teams to plan and deliver the business outcomes of the journey; and Monitoring journey results/business outcomes and making adjustments as needed. Professional skill requirements include: Proven track record in the Energy industry Well established presence on the Kuwait or KSA market with good network in the Resources industry; A reliable understanding of the competitive landscape in the Resources industry segment; Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment; Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment; Desire to work in an information systems environment; Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills (Arabic and English is a must); and Excellent leadership and management skills. The role offers generous tax free salary + excellent benefits and frequent travel throughout the region will be required. Requirements Requirements The successful candidate will be mid-career with 10-15 years of significant strategic/management consulting, IT consulting, energy and/or utility industry experience from a reputable international company or worked apoad in an international environment. (S)he is equipped with proven people management skills. The successful candidate has also demonstrated poad experience in client relationship management with executives, top decision-makers and the key participants of the local business sector. It is essential that due to the previous professional experience, his/her name is well acknowledged in the business sphere. Relevant experience will also include having demonstrated in previous career key success factors such as transparency and teamwork. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills. Candidates of Kuwaiti or Saudi origin and nationality are highly desirable, but others who are fully integrated and very well connected within the local business environment and speak Arabic fluently could also be considered for the position.
