This world leading professional Firm of accountants is a market leader in the Middle East; they employ over 3,500 staff across the region and play a high profile role in the region.
They are current expanding their Audit & Risk functions and are seeking a key Audit Director to join their team. Their offices are spread across the region and include locations such as Dubai, Jordan, Oman, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Doha and Bahrain. We have urgent vacancy for a Bi-lingual (Arabic/English) speaking Director in Kuwait.
The role of Audit Director is highly autonomous and as a result has quasip-artner responsibilities and will focus on the SME client base. You will be leading a team of between 10-15 audit staff; including managers, supervisors and trainees. The role has responsibilities for risk management and signing authority, managing client relationships, portfolio recovery, staff development and maximising the fee opportunities.
The role of Audit Director demands strong people skills and communication abilities; you will need to be able to develop excellent relationships with both clients and staff.
You will be CA, CpA or ACCA qualified; currently (or recently) have worked in a Chartered Accounting firm and have strong technical auditing skills. Experience of IFRS / ISA is ideal but not essential. Ideally you will be at partner or Audit Director or Senior Manager level from a non-Big 4 firm or Audit Director/ Senior Manager from a Big 4 firm.
