Location: Bahrain (Tax Free) Opportunity for a fluent English speaker with experience in transportation/infrastructure planning to take up a two year contract (with possibility of extension) in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will be a well experienced and suitably skilled professional with a wide experience in traffic and transport planning.
The position will involve undertaking projects which will allow the efficient provision of transport infrastructure to the dynamically growing Kingdom of Bahrain. Salary will be in the region of US$ 60K (tax free). Accommodation and car will also be provided. The ideal candidate will be a well experienced and suitably skilled professional with a wide experience in traffic and transport planning.
The position will involve undertaking projects which will allow the efficient provision of transport infrastructure to the dynamically growing Kingdom of Bahrain.
⢠Key Experience & Qualifications: - Between 5-10 years experience in Traffic & Transport Planning. - Experience in using transport planning software, specific skills and experience in using the PTV Vision Suite, (VISUM/VISEM & VISSIM) would be highly regarded. - Experience in undertaking and managing multi model transport planning studies. - Experience in junction capacity assessments using software like SIDRA/SYNCHRO desirable. - Experience in undertaking traffic impact & area based traffic/transport studies.
