Job Description
Our client, a world leading FMCG multinational organisation, currently seeks a Key Account Sales Manager to join their expanding regional team.
Based in Dubai, reporting to the UAE General Manager with a dotted line into the international duty free business, the purpose of this role will be to oversee the total sales and customer management of all the duty free accounts across the region. The geographical remit will be the total Middle East and the wider Subcontinent. Your role will be to travel the region understanding your customer needs, building strong relationships with all stakeholders, managing the joint business planning process and giving total 360 degree customer service. Your objective will be to deliver the sales targets, and you will do this through best in class sales fundamentals, driving share of shelf, share of display, merchandising, optimizing distribution and managing pricing and supply. There will be a matrix structure where you will have ongoing support from the brand teams, as well as supply chain resource and international support from the global duty free team. You will need to feedback internally on what initiatives are needed to win in your markets and maximize new product launches across the region.
As the ideal candidate, you must be a fantastic FMCG sales manager, who has excellent negotiation and relationship building skills. You will be someone who has a track record of driving your business forward and over delivering results. You will have around 5-9 years of experience, you do not need to be an Arabic speaker, and regional experience in the Middle East would be an advantage but is not a must have. Those with experience of handling duty free/travel retail will have a strong advantage, although there is flexibility to entertain applications from people with traditional/modern trade channels. A final advantage would be someone who has prior experience of handling a confectionary business, although, again this is not a must. International applications are welcome.
