Job Description
A leading Group operating in many market sectors such as automotive, construction, power, oil & gas... is looking to hire for one of its affiliated Company in the UAE a:
GENERAL MANAGER (GM):
Work Description :
· Develops drives and expands the companyâs market share in the tyre business.
· Provides continuous involvement in day to day business development, prospecting, networking and sales generating activities.
· Conducts ongoing analysis and sales forecasting for all distribution channels to ensure that objectives are attained.
· Leads and coaches a team of 50 employees in order to ensure their knowledge about the product and their ability to sell efficiently.
· Organizes sales opportunities in the local and international market.
· Manages major accounts in the tyre business while ensuring that profitability is maintained.
· Monitors competition carefully and analyses the competitive environment
· Monitors the budget in coordination with the financial department.
· Reports on a regular basis to the CEO and updates him on the ongoing selling activities.
Qualifications:
· Has an average of 15 years of experience with an average of 5 years in the tyre business.
· BS in Business/Management or any related field with high importance to the strong commercial sense and managerial skills. MBA is a plus.
· The candidate should have strong knowledge of the UAE market.
· The selected candidate should present a successful track record in managing and growing the distribution of tyres in order to expand the penetration and grow the Companyâs market share.
· Other key skills for this position are: fine communicator, persuasive, smart negotiator and a true leader.
· Languages: Fluent in English. Arabic is a major plus
