Facilities Manager: Job Details General Manager - Facilities Management - Bahrain Our Client is a large property developer based in Bahrain they require a General Manager for their Facilities Management division to undertake the following role: Purpose: You will be responsible for the planning, directing and coordinating of maintenance and overall governance of the Companies Real Estate Portfolio. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Develop the departments strategies, business plans and budgets in accordance with the Companies overall strategies and directions Ensure all property agreements are signed in accordance with the Companies objectives Ensure fire protection and loss control measures are in place and are implemented accordingly Establish a clear defined project scope of work that results in project facilities meeting international safety, health and environmental standards Follows up with the supervisor - maintenance and ensures up to date maintenance of all project sites Ensures efficient and effective project execution with regard to design, procurement, construction and commissioning Meets or exceeds industry standards for productivity and efficiency Preparing documents to put out tenders for contractors Project management and supervising and coordinating work for contractors Investigating availability and suitability of options for new purchases Calculating and comparing costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money Planning for future development in line with strategic business objectives Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise The desirable Candidate will have the following Qualifications and Skills: Qualifications: Degree in Engineering, preferably in Civil Engineering / Architecture Experience: 5 - 7 years of related experience Skills: Ability to inspire others Strong communication and interpersonal skills Achievement orientation Visionary and strategic thinking Competitive Expat Salary + additional benefits Email this job to a friend
