Reporting to the Store Manager, the Deputy Store Manager responsibilities are to assist Store Manager in leading Store/Sales Managers to maximise store contribution through exploiting every opportunity to drive sales, reduce stock loss and maintain cost controls. Deliver the highest levels of motivation and development of team members. A Deputy Store Manager ensures individual and store compliance with all company regulations and procedures. He/She also contributes to and undertakes Operations Management projects* Work with Store Manager to decide store layout and stock and fixture positioning, assist with managing stock availability, product launches and promotions. Feed pertinent information back to pand team* Ensure customer focus is prioritized* Implement and maintain agreed guidelines and standards for visual merchandising* Ensure store is fully compliant administratively and procedurally according to company guidelines and deadlines* Develop strategies specific to store product/size and or location* Implement and review all stock loss prevention controls and develop practices specific to need of store* Maange a team including : recruitment, motivation, development, disciplinary and performance appraisal* Ensure communication is effective throughout store and back to pand team Requirements Requirements * 3 - 5 years of experience in Retail background* Minimum high school graduate* Very fluent in spoken and written English* Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills* Arabic language is a plus* Good people management skills About the Company About the Company Alshaya are a leading international franchise operator for over 40 of the world's most recognized retail pands including BHS, H&M, Starbucks, Mothercare, Arcadia Group, Debenhams, River Island, Boots, The Body Shop, Vision Express, Next, Foot Locker, Pizza Express, PQ and Dean & Deluca.
