Job Description
My client requires the services of a Compliance Manager to be based from their office in Abu Dhabi.
The purpose of the role is to develop, coordinate and implement plans, policies, and program initiatives associated with the operations and maintenance of facilities and assets. To coordinate and assist in the management of the overall quality, environmental and safety programs. And to carry out all duties in accordance with prescribed quality and safety standards, and other regulations as applicable in the UAE.
Duties will include but not be limited to: The program's Quality, Environment and Safety (QES) Manager who formulates and supervises the program's Quality, Environmental and Safety programs, while ensuring they are current and relevant. Designs, develops, implements and evaluates a comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS), a Health & Safety (H&S) plan for the project and local operating procedures at site level. Responsible for the ISO 14001 registration. Responsible for the all Quality, Environment, Health and Safety programs (monitoring, coordinating, revision, metrics, etc.) across the sites. Coordinates responses to customer quality assurance evaluations. Oversight of the Service Delivery Providers (SDPs) Quality program Prepares standard operating procedures, directives, and instructions to implement plans, programs, and policies. Manages, supervises, and coordinates unplanned projects as assigned by the Program Manager Prepares and presents a wide range of briefings as required. Management representative for ISO 9000 and ISO 14001.
Candidates should ideally have a minimum of 10 years experience with increasing responsibility positions in Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality with a degree in business management or related field.
Also, a recognised Health and Safety qualification at a minimum level of NVQ3 or NEBOSH certificate is essential. Additional Information MS
