Job Description: Luxury Resort Hotel within key business district requires a Chief Engineer to manage the day to day function of the maintenance department of this fabulous hotel.
Reporting to the Technical Services Director, you will be responsible for managing the budget, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance and energy conservation and the maintenance of engineering plant. Essentially you will be a qualified engineer who has worked within the hotel industry for a minimum of 5 years as a Chief Engineer. You will have specialist knowledge of maintenance, repair and operation of engineering plant and will also be capable of managing budgets and capex projects. Good leadership skills are paramount as well as excellent planning and organisation of this complex department. You will also be quick to make decisions and be able to solve problems in a timely manner. Good proficiency with system's, MS office, outlook and excel is also desirable.A generous basic net salary is on offer, along with full x pat benefits, housing, utilities and flights home.
