1. Establish and follow up the CW planning in order to respect and improve the deadline of the project
2. Identify, analyze and follow-up technical and financial risk in order to secure the development of CW portion of the project
3. Elaborate, follow-up and ensure the respect and the improvement of CW budget and cash (costs reductions, identification of VOs etc) in order to optimize them. Provide necessary support to PM for Reporting relating to civil activities
4. Assist the PM and CW Dept Manager in selection, negotiation and contracting with local subcontractors (Design & Construction) in accordance with ERT sourcing process in order to respect the budget and the deadline of the project. Verify, validate and submit for approval to the PM the monthly progress reports of the subcontractors and ensure that they are in line with budget.
5. Manage the CW subcontractors in order to deliver timely and within budget the CW of the project. Supervise and coordinate the CW construction with the EM erection works.
6. Control and coordinate the CW design so as to minimize construction costs while satisfying EM and Contract requirements. Supervise the submission of CW Design to the client and obtain approval thereof. Manage CW design documents control
7. Develop and monitor implementation of the QHSE plan for civil works activities. Ensure that the quality of works delivered are in conformity with the contract requirements
8. Forecast and plan the resources needed to execute CW portion of the project. Manage the CW Design/Construction coordinator(s) and Site Engineers assigned to the project. Skills
Education / Experience
Civil engineering/Architectural degree or equivalent 5-10 years experience in Civil Works, either on design side or in construction activities.
Knowledge of CW costing elements for building works and Contracts management
Ability to supervise/control measurements and basic designs in building works
Capacity to work in international context
Good oral/written communication skills in English, team leader ability
Prior experience of HV substations civil aspect is a plus BT
