PROJECT MANAGER - BARWA CITY(PHASE II) QATAR

Description Client: My Client is an International Consultancy with a Massive Middle Eastern presence currently employing over 1,500 employees. With an extensive portfolio of projects including The Abu Dhabi Trade Centre, Al Raha Beach Development, The Jumeirah Development and Bridges of the Dubai Sheraton .
Capabilities include Project Management, and Engineering with a focus on Transportation, Buildings, Infrastructure and Urban Developments.
Role/Project: My Client will be working on a massive housing development just outside Doha. The complex with 6,000 residential units will be located in the south of the industrial area. The area of the city will be 2.7 million square meters and is designed to be in the shape of a rectangle with a length of 1.5 km and width of 1.8 km.
Requirements: The Project Manager for this Position must be a highly experienced Architect or Civil Engineer with a BSc or equal and a minimum of 15 years of experience. You will need to be Chartered member of an appropriate professional Institution of Engineers or Architects. As a Project Manager you will need to attend regular meetings with the Client, end user and contractor during the course of the contract. You will be responsible for the overall control and Management and the supervision and will liase with the main line engineer who will lead the project on site.
My Client insists that the candidate for this position must demonstrate relevant experience in design, management and supervision of similar projects.
