Construction, Commissioning & Start-up phases:
• Responsible for monitoring contractor’s site safety programs against Contract requirements.
• Support the Company’s safety goals for the project.
• Interface with Sub Contractor, Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLC) throughout construction, pre-commissioning, and startup periods.
• Coordinate site orientations and specific safety training for Company construction team members.
• Promote HSE on site and motivate personnel in safe behavior and organize information campaigns
• Perform inspections and reviews of the facility during construction to confirm compliance with Project safety requirements and specifications.
• Ability to lead root cause analysis investigations of near miss/ actual incidents to assure root causes are identified and corrective actions are presented to management.
• Audits/monitors contractor’s construction safety meetings.
• Audits contractor’s record-keeping practices/procedures.
• Perform atmospheric gas testing as required for hot work or confined space entry
• Participates/represents Company CMT during contractor accident/incident investigations.
• Membership on the site emergency response team
• Ability and wiliness to work all shifts and a minimum of 6 days per/wk or as assigned. Skills

• 5 to 10+ years experience in construction/industrial safety with experience working in refining/petrochemical plants.
• Working knowledge of Industry Codes and Standards related to construction safety. e.g. OSHA or European
• Candidate should possess an ability to review and understand specifications and drawings.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a multi-discipline, multi-cultural team
• Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of softwares
• Certification in basic first aid and incipient fire fighting Company Profile
