Job Code: EED/08/003 Primary Purpose Of The Job: Carry out all programming activities related to engineering Document Management system like developing screens, tables, searches, menus, etc. Perform application design, programming, modelling, and support of Engineering Information Center systems. Provide technical leadership to assistant programmers and junior programmers. Efficiently exploit FileNet or Cimage application builder and Oracle development tools and pass his/her knowledge and skills to other technical staff working in the development unit. This job plays a vital role in computer systems customization and the standardization of development process.
Education and Qualification : A university degree in computer science or a related field is necessary.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Minimum of 10 years experience in programming and system development preferably in document management using Cimage and Oracle or other Engineering Document management system. Fully skilled in advanced computer programming, data analysis, software development process and technical documentation. Have knowledge and understanding of integrated document management systemsÂ’ principles and technologies and the knowledge of current technological developments and trends in the area of expertise. Has ability to evaluate and interpret end user information requirements and to develop and implement appropriate programs according to corporate standards and guidelines. Enjoy skills in using and programming of relational databases, such as Oracle and MS-Access. Has ability to evaluate and interpret end user information requirements and to develop and implement appropriate programs according to corporate standards and guidelines. An expertise in web technologies, J2EE and SOA., XML, SQL/PLSQL and comfort with UML modelling would also be of interest. Familiarity with the Microsoft Windows API and development of web sites with ASP.NET and IIS will be beneficial. Other Skills Self-motivated.
