Job Code: SVD/06/006 Primary Purpose Of The Job Plans and coordinates the development, implementation and management of information management systems (Finder, eSearch, LogDB, and Prosource), provide technical support to asset team, application data migration during the upgrade to new version of the software and monitor the progress of IT related issues for QP departments in the Oil & Gas Ventures Directorate.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Candidates should possess a Bachelors Degree in an appropriate discipline, which may include Computer Science, Engineering, Geoscience, or equivalent. All Senior Engineer positions require 8-10 years experience in relevant business and technology areas. The position requires extensive working knowledge in Schlumberger Information Management products, At least 7 years in Finder and LogDB. Work experience in eSearch, Prosource and Expeditor is essential. The position requires excellent oral and written communication skills in English, and the ability to collaborate in a team environment, while taking responsibility for project results. Applicants must be highly motivated and able to relate positively to staff in all levels in Oil & Gas Ventures Directorate.
