Job Code: SVD/06/005 Primary Purpose Of The Job Plans and coordinates the development, implementation and management of Geoscience applications (OpenWork, SeisWork, EarthCube, RMS, AVO etc), provide technical support, application data migration and monitor IT services for Geosciences and Petroleum Engineering applications for QP departments in the Oil & Gas Ventures Directorate.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Candidates should possess a Bachelors Degree in an appropriate discipline, which may include Computer Science, Engineering, Geoscience, or equivalent. All Senior Engineer positions require 8-10 years experience in relevant business and technology areas. The position requires excellent oral and written communication skills in English, and the ability to collaborate in a team environment, while taking responsibility for project results. Applicants must be highly motivated and able to relate positively to staff in all levels in Oil & Gas Ventures Directorate.
