A great opportunity to join a dynamic and well established, high profile professional Services/Consulting firm specialising specifically in the data protection, archiving and replication offerings. Technical Consultants within this firm provide the following services to their clients/prospects: - Advice & guidance on the effective design, deployment + operational usage of the technologies - production of detailed designs for the aspects of the customer solution - Implementation, testing + deployment of the company software components in line with the prescribed solution design - Delivery of workshops, custom training. When required attend or host project review meetings. - Troubleshooting of issues or problems which may be associated with or created by the company's solution Key Attributes: - Customer Focused - Accountability/Ownership - Written + verbal Communication skills - Team working - Consulting skills - Networking - Motivation - Innovation Required Technical Skills (as many as possible): - MS and or Unix/Networking/SAN certification - 3 years + experience within systems administration/consulting experience - Solid knowledge of TCp/Ip Networking (and possibly WAN technologies) - Good hands on knowledge of Windows/Unix/Netware/Linux - Hands on technical experience with storage related solutions (eg EMC, HDS, SAN, NAS, Libraries etc) - Knowledge of enterprise applications (Exchange, SQL, Oracle, Notes etc) - Knowledge with backup + recovery products.
